Referring to the above news item I was a student when Hal Lister was in the department, he graduated two years before me. We were then at no. 2 Sydenham Terrace and the professor was G.H. J Daysh. Lecturers I remember were John House, political geography, M.R. G Conzen, human geography, Don Mather, regional studies, Bill Anson, climatology, Fryer, surveying.
